I had an exceptional stay at Pousada Capitao Gancho, where the host couple, Paolo and Marcia, made us feel like family, providing local insights and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location, just a short walk from the ferry boat, was convenient, and the beautifully designed rooms were spotlessly clean, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of adventures. We loved relaxing in the outside space with hammocks, feeling completely at ease in the tranquil surroundings. The delicious breakfast spread truly set the tone for each day's exploration, making it a challenge to leave this gem of a place. I highly recommend Pousada Capitao Gancho for a perfect Bahia experience that will undoubtedly leave you wanting to extend your stay.
